'Copy, Play, & Learn' has been a great way for Marcus to start learning the guitar. He loves the songs because they are relevant and funny which keeps him interested. The Copying method keeps the learning relaxed and fun. We love it!

Copy, Play and Learn is an excellent teaching tool for the budding, young guitarist. Our son began using this tool at age five. He particularly enjoys the themes and lyrics of the pieces and songs found in this book. He has also found homework and practice much more enjoyable using the accompanying CD.

Bryce Leader has used his many years of teaching experience to develop a unique way of engaging the young beginner guitarist. The music in Copy, Play and Learn is great fun; children identify with the characters in the songs and want to keep practising so they can follow the story

My son began guitar tutorials with Bryce when he was aged 5. I remember at the time, Bryce had said Jordan was one of the youngest students he had tutored. My son is now 8 years old and has a fantastic passion for guitar both electric and acoustic. I believe it is because of the Copy and Learn technique Bryce has developed which made learning the guitar for Jordan easy and fun. I would highly recommend Bryce and his method of tutoring to anyone who wants to learn the guitar with ease.

Thought I would just shoot you a quick email to let you know that over the weekend we invested in a new guitar for Lachlan. To say that he is happy is the understatement of the year. I'm sure the novelty will wear off over time, but he has literally not done anything else but practice for the last 40 hours and counting- and why do I have to stop to eat??
Anyway, whatever you did in that first lesson, please keep doing as his 'obsession' is a pleasure to watch not to mention hear.

My son, Phoenix has been learning guitar using “Copy, Play and Learn” for the past six months. He has learnt so much in such a short period of time and has a great time as well! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn music properly whilst having fun.

Mr Leader has captured the attention of the young guitarist with a storyline that runs through this excellent book and gives the beginner a chance to play without the hassle of understanding the full language of music first up. Young beginners have enough trouble finding the correct string without the added burden of fully understanding all of the symbols. The CD is an excellent addition and allows practice to be more engaging and opens the wonderful world of guitar to young players.

Hello Bryce, I wanted to send a message to tell you how much I love using your book to teach with. I work in schools in Barnsley, England and use your book all the time. The students are engaged and the repertoire is perfect. The kids love it!

I must say you have come up with some interesting (and groovy) material. I read carefully through your explanations and now understand where you are coming from. You have invented a whole Suzuki style approach but with contemporary stuff of your own – very commendable! The video on the website is great to see it in action, and the CD is essential. As a method for very young kids to start playing and having fun with the guitar it is a winner. I don’t know of anything else on the market like this and you seem to have some proven success with it.

Copy, Play, Learn is a well-paced program that had all children engaged. They all enjoyed the fun backing tracks and song lyrics and were eager to practice and share with friends from the first lesson. The format which is based on listening and echo playing allowed children of all ability levels to achieve success.
"...The Kids were on fire this morning. The joy of discovering music through the Copy play and learn system has had such a positive effect on the kids’ self-esteem and morale."

What I like about this book is there is plenty of repetition that young people need to help the notes “sink in” in relation to their staff position/fingerboard position/duration, and to develop fine motor skills. Many of the books currently available move too quickly onto difficult material before consolidating prior work. Listening to the teacher playing develops aural skills. The “rest bars” when the teacher is playing allow the students’ hands to relax briefly to avoid strain. The questions provided in the book are useful to make sure young players understand what they are doing. Young children enjoy music games and they like to answer the questions and perform the tasks provided on the flash cards.
